POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Caterina Assi and Cloe Clements Sorde of the Marist women's tennis team were named by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference to the All-MAAC Singles Second Team on Thursday.
 
The MAAC also announced its All-Academic Teams, honoring five Red Foxes.
 

Caterina  Assi, All-MAAC Singles Second Team

Assi played a majority of the matches for the Red Foxes at the #1 position, securing an overall singles record of 8-7 and 4-3 in MAAC play.

Assi earned one MAAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week selection in 2025.

As a freshman in 2024, Assi was the MAAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year.
 
 

Cloe Clements-Sorde, All MAAC Singles Second Team

Cloe Clements Sorde played in 12 singles matches in 2025 at the #2 position for the Red Foxes.

At singles in 2025, Clements Sorde tallied an overall record of 10-7 and 4-4 in the MAAC

Clements Sorde earned one MAAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week selection in 2025.
 
 

MAAC All-Academic Team

Five Red Foxes qualified for MAAC All-Academic team selection for the 2025 season. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or above on a 4.0 scale.
