POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team is ranked #18 in this week's D1Softball Mid-Major Poll.
 
The Red Foxes have gone up a spot from last week, and have been ranked all 12 weeks this season:

Marist went 5-0 last week, and then extended its winning streak to 11 with a doubleheader sweep at Niagara on Tuesday. Since March 1, Marist is 30-2-1.
 
The Red Foxes stand at 41-7-1 overall and 18-2-1 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play. Marist needs one win in its three-game series against Iona to capture the MAAC regular-season title and earn the right to serve as host for the conference championship next week.
