POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team is set to take on Iona in a three-game series at Gartland Field.
 

Schedule

• Thursday, May 1: Doubleheader, 1 p.m.
• Friday, May 2: Single game, noon (Senior Day set for 11:45 a.m.)
• All three games will be streamed on the Red Fox Network.

 

Senior Day

Marist will honor eight players on Senior Day: Maddie Gore, Ronni Howard, Kaitlyn Husic, Miah McDonald, Isabella Milazzo, Lauren Morrell, Kiley Myers, and Maddie Pleasants.
 

#1 Seed Scenarios

• Iona needs to defeat Marist three times to win the MAAC regular-season championship.
• All other scenarios will result in Marist winning the regular-season title.
• The #1 seed earns the right to host next week's MAAC Championship, which begins on Tuesday, May 6.

 

Records

• Marist is 41-7-1 overall and 18-2-1 in the MAAC.
  • The Red Foxes have won 11 straight.
  • Last time out, Marist swept a doubleheader at Niagara on Tuesday.
• Iona is 28-16 overall and 18-5 in the MAAC.
