POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team has risen to #14 in this week's D1Softball Mid-Major Poll.

Marist is 30-5 overall and 7-0 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play. The Red Foxes' 19-game winning streak is the longest active streak in the country, and it is the longest streak in program history.
 
Last week, the Red Foxes went 4-0:
 

• April 1, game one: Kiley Myers pitched her second no-hitter of the season, and Sienna Kunze hit a three-run walk-off homer as the Red Foxes defeated Canisius 8-0 in five innings.
• April 1, game two: Maddie Pleasants went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and a homer, and Maddie Gore's walk-off grand slam gave Marist an 11-1 win over Canisius in six innings.
• April 4, game one: Myers won her third game of the week, and back-to-back homers by Pleasants and Sienna Kunze keyed a three-run fifth in Marist's 8-6 win over Fairfield.
• April 4, game two: Pleasants struck out a career-high 14 while tossing a four-hit shutout, and Ronni Howard went 3-for-3 in Marist's 6-0 win over Fairfield.

 
On Tuesday, Marist swept the Jersey Mike's MAAC Softball Weekly Awards, as Pleasants (Player of the Week), Myers (Pitcher of the Week), and Kunze (Rookie of the Week) were honored.
 
Marist is scheduled to return to action this weekend with a three-game series at Siena. The Red Foxes and Saints are set for a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday. First pitch on both days is set for noon.
