POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Five Marist softball players were named Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.

Haley Ahr,
Miah McDonald,
Kiley Myers,
Peyton Pusey, and
Samantha Rogers earned the honor. This is Myers' third career Academic All-District selection. It is the second distinction for Ahr, McDonald, and Myers, and it is the first for Rogers.

All five Academic All-District honorees earned All-MAAC honors this season. McDonald was named MAAC Player of the Year. Ahr, Myers, and Pusey were First Team All-MAAC selections, with Myers named Most Outstanding Player of the MAAC Championship and both Ahr and Pusey nabbing All-Championship Team selections. Rogers was a Second Team All-MAAC choice and an All-Championship Team honoree.

The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize standouts in the classroom and on the field. Eligibility requirements include being of at least sophomore standing athletically and academically, having a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5, and meeting playing time requirements regarding games played and/or starts.

The Marist softball team set a program record with 48 wins in the 2025 season, and the Red Foxes earned their first victory at NCAA Regionals in program history.
