POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team is ranked #17 in this week's D1Softball Mid-Major Poll, the final one of the regular season.
 
The Red Foxes went up a spot from last week, and were ranked in all 13 weeks of the regular season. The final poll will be released after a national champion is crowned.

Marist went 5-0 last week to clinch the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular-season championship. The Red Foxes closed the regular season with 14 straight wins, and are 33-2-1 since March 1.
 
The Red Foxes stand at 44-7-1 overall went 21-2-1 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play. Marist opens play in the MAAC Championship on Thursday at 2 p.m.
