POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Four Marist University softball players finished the season leading the NCAA in a statistical category this season:
Haley Ahr,
Miah McDonald,
Kiley Myers, and
Peyton Pusey.

Ahr led the nation with a .508 batting average. She also ranked in the top 20 in hits (seventh, 90), on-base percentage (11
th, .556), and toughest to strike out (14
th, once every 35.4 at bats). This season, Ahr was honored as a Second Team Academic All-American, was named First Team All-MAAC for the third straight year, named NFCA First Team All-Region for the second straight year, and recognized in the Top 100 lists by both D1Softball and Softball America.

McDonald ranked first in the NCAA with 195 total bases. She also ranked in the top 20 in home runs (second, 28), home runs per game (second, 0.48), runs (second, 80), runs per game (second, 1.38), slugging percentage (third, 1.026), batting average (11
th, .453), hits (11
th, 86), and RBIs (18
th, 69). McDonald was honored as a First Team Academic All-American, named MAAC Player of the Year for the second straight year, named ECAC Player of the Year, was First Team NFCA All-Region, and recognized in the Top 100 lists by both D1Softball and Softball America.

Myers tied for the national lead with 11 shutouts. She also ranked in the top 20 in walks allowed per seven innings (sixth, 0.95), strikeout-to-walk ratio (seventh, 5.70), WHIP (10
th, 0.95), ERA (13
th, 1.66), and wins (18
th, 23). Myers was a First Team All-MAAC, First Team NFCA All-Region, and an Academic All-District selection this year.

Pusey topped the nation in runs scored (82) and runs per game (1.44). She also ranked 10
th with 90 hits. Pusey was a First Team All-MAAC and First Team All-NFCA All-Region selection for the second straight year, and she was an Academic All-District selection.

The Marist softball team set a program record with 48 wins in the 2025 season, and the Red Foxes earned their first victory in NCAA Regional play in program history.
