Princeton, NJ – The Marist water polo team is set to travel to Princeton to face Brown and Princeton on Saturday Jan. 31.
 
The Red Foxes are off to a hot start this season with a 2-0 record going into the Princeton Invitational.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes went 2-0 last week at the Bruno Classic to start the season.
  • Match one vs Siena: 22-5, win
  • Match two vs #20 Wagner: 14-7, win
• Paige Naegle led the Red Foxes with six goals, while Emily Scheerer had three goals and two assists in the win over Siena.
• Ines Sanchez had a stellar performance in net with 12 saves on 14 shots. On the offensive side Naegle and Kendall De Beer led the team with three goals a piece in a big win over Wagner.

 

SCOUTING BROWN

• The match is slated for Jan. 31 at 3:00 pm.
• The Brown Bears enter the match at 3-1 to start the 2026 campaign.
• In their first tournament play this season, the Brown Bears went 2-1 at the Bruno Classic.
  • Match one vs LIU: 16-3, win.
  • Match two vs #7 Indiana: 9-12, loss.
  • Match three vs Villanova: 14-5, win.
• This will be the first match between the Brown Bears and Red Foxes this season.

 

SCOUTING PRINCETON

• The match is slated for Jan. 31 at 7:00 pm.
• The Tigers enter the match at 1-0 to start the season.
• Princeton played LIU in their only match this season winning 13-9.
• Princeton enters the match ranked #15.
• This will be the first match between the Tigers and Red Foxed this season.

 

UP NEXT

• The Red Foxes head to Arizona for the ASU Invitational.
• They will play four matches over two days, against University of the Pacific, Arizona State University, Fresno State, and San Diego State University.
