POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team will play five games in the Lion Invitational, hosted by East Texas A&M, this weekend.

• Sunday, Feb. 15 – Jackson State, 10 a.m.

• Marist went 3-2 to open its season last weekend in tournament play in South Carolina.
• The Red Foxes recorded an extra-inning win at College of Charleston, and they recorded mercy-rule wins over George Mason and Charleston Southern.
• Geiser led the Red Foxes with a .563 batting average, nine hits, and nine runs scored last weekend.
• Peyton Pusey hit .471 with six runs scored, five RBIs, five stolen bases, and two triples.
• Haley Ahr and Samantha Rogers both drove in a team-best six runs.
• Kaylie DeChicchis had a win and a save in her two pitching appearances.
• Stella Blanchard threw a team-high 11 innings last weekend.
