CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts - Marist Water Polo traveled to the Harvard Invite on Sunday. They successfully took down MAAC rival, #21 Wagner Sunday morning by a score of 7-6. In the second match of the weekend, they lost to #13 Harvard 14-8.

Kendell De Beer led the Red Foxes in the first match with three goals and one steal, in the win.

Paige Naegle tallied two goals and a steal. De Beer recorded another two goals in the match.

- The Red Foxes fell behind early, letting up three goals to their one in the first quarter.
- In the second quarter Marist started to pick up momentum, scoring three goals and shutting out Wagner.
- After halftime, the scoring slowed down and only Wagner got on the board with one goal making the score 4-4 headed to the fourth.
- In the fourth quarter each team fought hard, but the Red Foxes prevailed, scoring three goals to Wagner's two, winning the match 7-6.

- Marist fell behind early, scoring only two goals in the first quarter while Harvard scored five.
- In the second quarter the Crimson kept their momentum scoring another three goals making the score 8-3 going into halftime.
- Coming out of the half the Red Foxes fought to stay in it, scoring three goals but Harvard didn't relent scoring four goals making it 12-7.
- In the fourth quarter Harvard finished things off by winning the match 13-8.

- The Red Foxes head back west to Pomona California for the Convergence Invitational for four games on March 6-7.
- They will face off against Biola University and University of La Verne, on Friday, and Cal State University Monterey Bay and Cal Baptist University on Saturday.
