Softball Travels to Manhattan for Wednesday Doubleheader

Games Will Not Count Toward Conference Standings

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team (29-19) will travel to Manhattan (15-32) for a Wednesday doubleheader. First pitch of game one is set for noon.
 
Wednesday's games will not count toward the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings.

  • DeBus and Karissa Spring are tied for the team lead with six wins. DeBus has a team-high 64 strikeouts, and Spring has pitched a team-high 125.2 innings.
  • Brianna Estevez is hitting .353 with a team-best 19 stolen bases in 21 tries.
  • Head coach Bridget Hurlman is in her third year at Manhattan. Hurlman is a 2006 Marist graduate who played the Red Foxes' first NCAA Tournament team as a senior.
