POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – On Thursday morning, the Metro Conference released the preseason ranking for the upcoming 2026 women's volleyball season. Marist comes in eighth on the preseason poll while having one athlete on the preseason All-Metro Team.
 
Senior Sara Dasic earned a spot on the preseason All-Metro Team. In 2025, Dasic was third in the conference and led the team with 310 kills. She also recorded 32 service aces, 10 assists, and 23 blocks.
 
Dasic also earned honors on the All-MAAC Second Team, MAAC All-Academic Team, and CSC Academic All-District Team.
 
The reigning champions, Fairfield University, lead the pack with 142 points, followed by Quinnipiac and Rider on the Metro Preseason Poll.
 
The Red Foxes come in at 62 points, ranking eighth in the preseason poll, just behind Sacred Heart.
 
Marist Volleyball begins its season on the road at Lafayette on August 29^th.
