POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's cross country team earned the second slot in the Metro preseason poll.

The Red Foxes' men's cross country program is coming off a stellar 2025 campaign. The team finished third, its best conference championship finish since 2022.

The Red Foxes are looking to repeat their success as they are gearing up for the 2026 season. The team reported back to campus last week, and their season opener will take place on Friday, Sept. 4 at Vassar Farm in Poughkeepsie.
