Red Foxes take to Middletown for Jasper Invite

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY. –The Marist men's and women's cross country team travel to Middletown, New York for the Jasper Invite.

WOMEN'S HISTORY AT JASPER INVITE
  • The Red Foxes last competed at the Jasper Invite on September 14, 2025
  • The team finished third overall with a total of 129 points
  • Senior Parker O'Brien led the way placing 15th overall in the women's 6k with a time of 21:49.3
  • O'Brien was followed by senior Emily Litke (25th overall, 22:11.3), and freshman Abigail Kowalczyk (31st overall, 22:21.5) to help secure the third place finish
MEN'S HISTORY AT JASPER INVITE
  • The Red Foxes last competed at the Jasper Invite on September 14, 2025
  • Sophomore Isaac Gross led the way placing 20th in the men's 8k with a time of 25:39.1
  • Sophomore Justin Schwartz came in at 29th with a time of 25:55.1
  • Sophomores Sanjith Nomula (48th place, 26:17.5), Davis Haines (51st place, 26:22.1)
  • Freshman Kaleb Stoeckmann (55th place, 26:28.1) rounded out the top 5 that scored 183 points and placed 6th out of 16 teams
LAST TIME OUT
  • The men's and women's teams last competed at the Marist Invitational on September 4th, 2026
  • Freshman Sean Galvin placed first overall in the men's 6k with a time of 19:31.0
  • Sophomore Chase Kober placed 5th overall with a time of 19:50.8
  • Seniors Matthew Ferreri (14th place, 20:20.2) and Pierce Francis (19th place, 20:27.9) both earned top 20 finishes
  • The women took home first overall in the 5k with 33 total points
  • They placed four runners in the top ten with Graduate Student Emily Litke (2nd place, 18:29.9), Freshmen Helena Szep (3rd place, 18:41.8) and Sofia Bane (4th place, 18:44.9), and
  • Sophomore Abigail Kowalczyk (8th place, 19:08.9)
  • Junior Julia Radjenovic rounded out the top 5 with a 16th place finish and a time of 19:26.2
     
UP NEXT
  • The Red Foxes will compete next on Friday, Oct. 2nd, at the Paul Short Run
  • This meet will be hosted by Lehigh inside Bethehem, Pa.
