POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist volleyball team earned two Metro Conference Weekly Awards. Caelyn Dumas was named Metro Setter of the Week, while Molly Malone earned Metro Rookie of the Week honors.
 
Dumas had an outstanding opening weekend for the Red Foxes, playing in all three matches. She recorded a team-best 9.33 assists per set, totaling 112 assists on the weekend, including a career-high 52 against Montana State. In addition to her playmaking, Dumas posted a .314 hitting percentage.
 
Malone impressed in her collegiate debut, appearing in all three matches for the Red Foxes. She averaged 2.00 kills per set while hitting .370 and totaled 28.5 points over the weekend. Malone recorded a weekend-best 14 kills against Montana State, providing a strong start to her Marist career.
 
Marist returns to action on Thursday when they face the University of Idaho at the Denver Invitational.
