Poughkeepsie, NY - Freshman outside hitter Stefanie Miksch (Austin, TX/James Bowie) garnered volleyball Co-Rookie of the Week accolades from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference for the second consecutive week.

Miksch scoring attack helped the Red Foxes to a 2-2 finish this week. The two-time rookie of the week recorded two double doubles on the week posting 17 kills and 15 digs against Fairleigh Dickinson while collecting 10 kills and 17 digs in the win against Holy Cross. Miksch finished the week with 39 kills and 43 digs. The Texan leads Marist with a .138 hitting percentage while averaging 2.73 kills per game and 2.62 digs per game.

Miksch and the rest of the Marist team will gear up to head into a busy week as they host Hofstra on Tuesday, September 23 at 5:00pm and then host Colgate on Wednesday, September 24th at 7:00pm. The Red Foxes will then hit the road as they take part in the University of Pennsylvania Tournament this weekend.
