PHILADELPHIA, PA. - The Marist women's tennis team have begun their final tournament of the fall season in Philadelphia, Pa. at the ITA Regional Tournament. The Red Foxes have two different freshmen participating in the singles and doubles draws.

In doubles, the Red Foxes pair of freshmen Erin McCarthy (Salem, N.J.) and Joanna Macaluso (Stormville, N.Y.) fell to Elise DeRose and Alexandra Erikson of Colgate. The final score in the eight game pro-set was 8-3.

McCarthy fell to Kinsey Pete of James Madison University in the singles main draw, 1-6, 0-6.

Marist has concluded their fall season and will begin their spring season at Colgate on Feb. 21, 2009.
