NEW YORK, N.Y. - Freshman Will Reznek (Toronto, Canada) of the Marist men's tennis team won the Flight C back draw at the Columbia Classic on Saturday afternoon. To do so, he won a pair of matches over opponents from Fairleigh Dickinson and Columbia. Additionally, classmate Dalen Klassen (St. Louis, Mo.) won his semifinal match to advance to the Flight C main draw finals.

Klassen defeated Kyle Roth of the University of Pennsylvania in three sets. After he lost the first set in a tiebreak, Klassen made routine work of Roth, 6-7 (6), 6-3, 10-1.

After Reznek defeated Guillermo Taiv of FDU 6-2, 6-1 in the back draw semifinals, he beat Alex Lee of Columbia for the Flight C back draw crown. The final score boasted Reznek over Lee 6-4, 6-0.

Marist will conclude play at the Columbia Classic on Sunday.
