Three Marist Football Players To Compete In FCS Senior Scout Bowl

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Cornerback Jaquan Bryant (St. Albans, N.Y.), running back Ryan Dinnebeil (River Vale, N.J.) and wide receiver Kevin Fitzpatrick (Columbia, Md.) of the Marist football team will compete in this year's Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Senior Scout Bowl, which will be played on Saturday, Dec. 17 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Bryant was named First Team All-Pioneer Football League (PFL) as a defensive back, and was Honorable Mention All-PFL as a return specialist this season. He was honored by the PFL for the third consecutive year as a defensive back, having been named to the Second Team in 2009 and Honorable Mention in 2010. Bryant led the Red Foxes with four interceptions this season, and had five pass break-ups. Bryant led the team in solo tackles with 41, which included four stops for losses. He also served as the Red Foxes' primary punt returner, and averaged 8.1 yards on 23 returns.

Dinnebeil, a tri-captain on this year's team, concluded his Marist career fourth in the program's Division I history with 21 career touchdowns. This season, despite missing three games due to injury, he ranked second on the team with a career-high 183 rushing yards and was tied for second with three rushing touchdowns. Dinnebeil scored a career-high nine touchdowns in the 2009 season.

Fitzpatrick was an Honorable Mention All-PFL selection this season after leading the Red Foxes in receptions (49) and receiving yards (601) while tying for the team lead in touchdown receptions (five). He finished career ranked fourth in the program's Division I history with 97 receptions for 1,232 yards, and also scored eight career touchdowns. Fitzpatrick appeared in all 44 of the program's games in his four seasons at Marist, and improved his receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns totals every season of his career.
