STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Three different players scored registered hat tricks Sunday as their Marist water polo team won their fifth consecutive game, 12-2 over Siena in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) game. It was the fourth straight game that the Red Foxes have won by at least 10 goals.
Jessica Hamby (Sacramento, Calif.), Jaclyn Puccino (San Diego, Calif.) and Kelly Kline (Reading, Pa.) all found the back of the net three times. Hamby also added six steals while Kline had five and an assist. Puccino had three assists, two steals and two field blocks to go along with her three goals. Robyn Crabtree (Cutler Bay, Fla.) had three assists to go along with five steals. Alison Hamby (Sacramento, Calif.) also had three points on a goal and two assists. Rebecca Thomas (Cape Town, South Africa) had eight saves in goal.
The Red Foxes (13-17, 5-1 MAAC) will play twice on Saturday, April 7 against Iona and VMI. The games will be played at Siena.
