SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Marist water polo team fell to UCSB 10-4 in its second game at the UCSD Invite.
Junior Jessica Hamby (Sacramento, Calif.) led the Red Foxes with two goals, claiming one through a six-on-five opportunity. Also for the Red Foxes, senior Yuriria Chavez (Chicago, Ill.) and freshman Amanda Amorosa (Montreal, QC) tallied a goal each in the loss.
Sophomore goalie Skyler Henry (San Diego, Calif.) posted eight saves for the day, adding a steal in the mix.
The Red Foxes were able to defend three of their five shorthanded opportunities, while drawing four ejections throughout the matchup.
