LAST TIME OUT:
The Red Foxes are coming off a heartbreaking 3-2 2OT loss at the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Saturday. The Bobcats got on the board first just 1:32 into the game when a free kick was sent into the box and found a Quinnipiac head that directed the ball into the back of the net. Marist answered exactly 35 minutes later when sophomoreÂ

Allen Gavilanes was there to put away the rebound and even the score at 1-1.
The Red Foxes took the lead with 18 minutes left in regulation when Gavilanes collected a loose ball outside the box and found the top left corner for the 2-1 advantage. With 7:10 left in the game, a Marist clear deflected off the referee and gave a Bobcat player a clear shot that he put into the back of the net to tie the game at 2-2.
With the game in overtime, the Red Foxes had a chance to win when a ball into the box found Bounthong but his header went wide.
After the first overtime ended with the two teams still tied 2-2, the game entered a second and final overtime. With roughly five minutes left in the game, Quinnipiac carried the ball into its offensive zone and found space down the left side. An attempted Marist tackle deflected the ball toward the end line and the Bobcats collected and found an open player in the box who slotted it inside the bottom left corner for the game winner.
