Top 10 Times Fuel Marist On Day Two

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland – The Marist men's swimming and diving team sits in sixth place with 190 points after the second day of the 2017 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.

Junior Peter Gallino continued his dominance on the diving board with 309.65 points on the 3-meter board to take the top spot. Freshman Raislan Aiken followed Gallino in second place with 291.30 points.

In the swimming pool junior Robert McDowell was the highest Marist finisher, coming in seventh place in the 100-yard backstroke (50.04 seconds). Sophomore Miguel Madeira clocked in at 1:40.41 in the 200-yard freestyle for 11th place while senior Manuel Garcia finished 13th in the 100-yard butterfly (49.81 seconds).

The Red Foxes' 200-yard medley relay team of McDowell, sophomore Edward Oser, Garcia and Madeira finished in sixth with a time of 1:32.61.

Marist will begin the final day of competition at the ECAC meet with preliminaries set to begin at 9 a.m. March 5.
