POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team (5-5 overall, 5-2 Pioneer Football League) will host #21/#22 San Diego (8-2, 7-0) in its final game of the season on Saturday at Tenney Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon, with the program's Senior Day ceremony preceding the contest.

- Marist suffered a 13-10 loss at Drake, which snapped a streak of five straight wins in PFL play. Red-shirt senior DE Enmanuel Soriano had 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. Red-shirt sophomore CB Ryan Webb broke up four passes, and red-shirt sophomore LB Grant Dixon forced fumbles.
- San Diego clinched its fifth straight PFL championship with a 56-52 triumph over Davidson. QB Anthony Lawrence threw for 556 yards and seven touchdowns. WR Michael Bandy caught 10 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns.

- Marist is 5-1 when having more total yards than the opponent, and 0-4 when it does not. The Red Foxes have had more total yards than their opponent in five straight games after having more yards just once in the first five games this year.
- Senior WR Juston Christian enters the game with 3,999 receiving yards. Currently, 17 players have reached 4,000 receiving yards all time in the Football Championship Subdivision.
- Christian is currently the FCS leader in yards per reception (25.2); fourth in total receiving TDs (13); ninth in receiving yards per game (108.5); and 10th in total TDs (13).
- In its last four games, Marist has had 16 passing plays of 20 yards or longer, while the opposition has had six.
- With a win, Marist would have its second-best PFL record in its 10 years in the league at 6-2. The Red Foxes went 7-1 in 2013 when they won a share of the league championship.
