POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – As Marist Women's Tennis prepares for the spring portion of its 2019-20 season, three student-athletes will join the program in the fall of 2020, Director of Tennis
Gary Sussman announced on Tuesday.
Deana Giambo, Jane Bockman, and Emma King make up the 2020 incoming class. Giambo and Bockman are local products from Harrison, NY and Goshen, NY, respectively. King hails from Calhoun, GA.
"We are thrilled with our recruiting class for the women's team, as Deana, Jane and Emma will all be outstanding additions to the program," commented Sussman. "Deana is a very high-caliber player from Westchester, and Jane was the top female player in Section IX while playing for Goshen before electing to train privately. Emma is a developing player from Georgia who we feel has tremendous potential and has just scratched the surface of her tennis talent."
- Giambo is a four-star recruit, according to the Tennis Recruiting Network.

- During those years, she was selected as the 845 Player of the Year, and was a consistent player ranked in the New York State top 20.
- Outside of high school athletics, Bockman has trained at the Rafael Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain, IMG Academy, and the Evert Tennis Academy.
