POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – In the fall of 1997, Marist Women's Soccer began its journey as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. In those 24 seasons, the Red Foxes have enjoyed numerous successes on a team and individual level.

From that initial 6-3 MAAC record 23 years ago, Marist has recorded 114 conference wins during the regular season. The Red Foxes maintained a .500 record or better in each of its first five seasons, culminating in the first of four MAAC regular season championships in program history.

The third of the four came in 2011, when Marist finished with a 7-1-1 conference mark. In the MAAC Championship against Loyola (MD), Amanda Epstein finished setups from Marjana Maksuti and Jamie Strumwasser to score in the 43rd minute. It was the lone goal of the contest, giving Marist its first MAAC title and first trip to the NCAA Tournament. Caitlin Landsman recorded her fifth shutout of the season in the process.
