POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team was picked to finish seventh in the Pioneer Football League Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
 
Last season, the Red Foxes finished tied for sixth in the PFL with a 4-4 league record.
 
Here are the full results of the poll, with first-place votes in parentheses. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own teams.

The Marist football team opens its season on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Georgetown. The Red Foxes play the first of their five home games at Tenney Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 16 against Davidson, which will be the team's PFL opener.
