POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team (1-2 overall, 1-1 Pioneer Football League) seeks its second straight win on Saturday when the Red Foxes host Stetson (2-2, 0-1) at Tenney Stadium on Family Weekend.

- Marist earned a 36-30 overtime win at Valparaiso on Saturday, Sept. 23.
- Amin Woods scored the game-winning touchdown on Marist's first offensive play from scrimmage in overtime on a 25-yard run.
- Brock Bagozzi accounted for four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing).
- Justin Iaccio had a team-leading eight tackles.

- Marist is 7-2 against Stetson all-time, with three straight wins.
- Marist is 5-0 all-time against the Hatters at Tenney Stadium.

- Tristan Shannon's 151 kickoff return yards at Georgetown are the second-highest single-game total in program history. Shannon also exceeded 100 yards in kickoff returns (113) vs. Davidson. Shannon is fifth in the FCS in total return yardage (302), 31st in all-purpose yards per game (117.0), and 32nd in kickoff return average (22.9).
- Camron Ball's 14 tackles against Davidson were the most by a Red Fox since Mike Arrington and Jayden Johnson each had 14 against Stetson and Morehead State, respectively, in the 2021 season.
- Matt Stianche's 161 receiving yards against Davidson were the most by a Red Fox since 2018, when the Red Foxes had three 200-yard receiving performances (two by Juston Christian, one by Anthony Olivencia). His 68-yard touchdown reception against Davidson was Marist's longest passing play since Austin Day's 73-yard touchdown pass to Joe Petro on Nov. 9, 2019.
- Stianche ranks 11th in the FCS in receiving touchdowns (three), 12th in the FCS in yards per reception (21.62), and 13th in the FCS in receiving yards per game (93.7).
- Carter James has recovered two muffed punts this season. Only two players in the FCS have recovered more fumbles this season.
- Marist's win at Valparaiso on Sept. 23 was its first overtime game since its last trip to Valparaiso, a victory in the 2021 season. The Red Foxes are 4-1 in overtime games in the last 10 years, including a 3-0 road record in that span.

- The Hatters enter the contest at 2-2 overall and 0-1 in PFL play. Stetson faced Butler in its PFL opener on Saturday, and fell at home by a score of 28-18.Â
- Rassie Littlejohn, who was named Preseason All-PFL, totaled 10 tackles, an interception return for a touchdown, a forced fumble, and two quarterback hurries against Butler.
- The Hatters were picked to finish ninth in the PFL Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Brian Young is in his third season as head coach after previously having served as the Hatters' defensive coordinator from 2013-19.

- The Silver Starlites baton twirlers are a nationally competitive baton team from the Hudson Valley, and will be on display during halftime of Saturday's game.
- Baton twirlers from ages 6 to 23 have won multiple state, regional and National titles.
- The Silver Starlites most recently competed in the World Championships held in Liverpool, England this summer and placed fifth in the World.
- Currently there are eight Starlites featuring as Division I Twirlers in college.

- The Veterans' Fundraiser with Giants Super Bowl XLII Champion Jay Alford will take place by the main gate entrance of Tenney Stadium.
- Autographs and photo ops will be available for purchase.
- The fundraiser will benefit VFW Post 9008 and Vet Zero, which gives free rides to Veterans for doctor appointments.Â
- 8X10 photos will be available or fans can bring their own items to be signed (footballs, jerseys, mini helmets, etc ).
