POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- Richard Morel of Marist men's soccer continues to tally the postseason awards, Wednesday afternoon. Morel was selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Second Team for a dominant 2024 season.
Morel was one of two MAAC players honored with the prestigious award selected by the United Soccer Coaches.
Most recently, Morel was named to the MAAC All-Championship Team for outstanding performances in the Red Foxes two playoff matches.
Richard Morel started in both matches for the Red Foxes, recording 162 minutes on the pitch. Morel scored a team-leading two goals in the MAAC Championships for the Red Foxes. Morel recorded a 75 percent shot on goal percentage in two matches, leading the Red Foxes.
Richard Morel was honored with an All-MAAC Second Team selection for the 2024 season.
