POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team was picked to finish eighth in the Pioneer Football League (PFL) Preseason Coaches' Poll.
 
Last season, the Red Foxes finished tied for fifth in the PFL with a 4-4 record in league play.
 
Here are this year's poll results and when Marist will face each team this season, with first-place votes in parentheses.

The All-PFL Preseason Team will be announced Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Marist football team opens the 2024 season, its first under head coach Mike Willis, on Saturday, Sept. 7 against Georgetown. It will be the first of the Red Foxes' five home games at Tenney Stadium this season. Marist will play the first of its eight PFL games on Saturday, Sept. 28 against Dayton at Tenney Stadium.
