ITHACA, New York – The Marist men's soccer team fell to Cornell of the Ivy League by a score of 3-0 on Saturday.
The Big Red scored all three of their goals in the first 26 minutes, but the Red Foxes played them even afterward.

We learned some more things about ourselves in the second half and really were unlucky not to put something on the board. - After a great save by Marist keeper Jamie Lowell in the second minute, Andrew Johnson opened the scoring in the third minute off a feed from Connor Miller on a corner kick.
- In the 16th minute, Alex Harris extended Cornell's lead to 2-0, with Miller setting it up again off a corner kick.
- Alioune Ka made it 3-0 Cornell in the 27th minute.
- The Red Foxes had multiple scoring chances in a flurry in the 55th minute. After a shot by Adam Rustami led to a corner kick, Evan Marques followed with a shot that hit the post.
- Cornell had a 15-10 total edge in shots. The Big Red had a 9-0 advantage in the first half, and the Red Foxes had a 10-6 edge in the second half.
- Cornell had eight corner kicks, while Marist had four.
- Lowell finished with four saves.
- Skyler Cunha had both of Marist's shots on goal.
- Marist is 0-3 on the season.
- Cornell is 1-0.
- Marist resumes non-conference play on Thursday night at Army.
