Worcester, MA - Marist College rallied in game three and pushed the match to five games in the Holy Cross tournament opener against foe Fairleigh Dickinson. The Red Foxes however, dropped the last game 15-13 for a 3-2 loss against the Knights.

The Red Foxes would rally back from a seven-point deficit to win 30-25. Marist then sealed the win for game four and pushed the match to the deciding fifth game. Marist would again rally from a 14-9 deficit to a final 15-13 game.

Sophomore outside hitter Jaime Kenworthy (Aston, PA/Cardinal O'Hara) led the scoring attack with 18 kills while freshman outside hitter Stefanie Miksch (Austin, TX/James Bowie) and freshman middle blocker Sally Hanson (Guerneville, CA/El Molino) collected 16 kills respectively. Sophomore Katie Lux (Wantagh, NY/Sacred Heart) led the defense with 27 digs while classmate setter Meghan Cochrane (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) chipped in 53 assists.

The Red Foxes will be in action once again tomorrow at 10:00am as they face Dartmouth and then finish up the tournament against host Holy Cross at 7:00pm.
