Poughkeepsie, NY - Marist College fell tonight 3-0 to the visiting Hofstra Pride. The Red Foxes would rally throughout the game however fall short in the end to collect a 6-10 record on the season.

Freshman outside hitter Stefanie Miksch (Austin, TX/James Bowie) collected a team high 10 kills on the game while freshman middle blocker Sally Hanson (Guerneville, CA/El Molino) posted a team leading .462 hitting percentage behind seven kills and two aces. Sophomore outside hitter Jaime Kenworthy (Aston, PA/ Cardinal O'Hara) added nine kills and two aces to the Red Fox attack. Sophomore setter Meghan Cochrane (Placentia, CA/El Dorado) added 23 assists and nine digs on the night.

The Pride was led by junior middle blocker Alessandra Pollo (Savona, Itlay/Venice) posting a .344 hitting percentage behind 17 kills along with nine digs. Sophomore outside hitter Tessa Sphar (San Jose, CA/Archbishop Mitty) collected nine kills, three aces and nine digs while senior setter Beth Arnette (Chesapeake, VA/Western Branch) chipped in 31 assists on the game.

The Red Foxes will be in action once again tomorrow night as they host non-conference rival Colgate at 7:00pm.
