Final Stats

EL PASO, TEXAS - In the first event for any Marist athletics team in the 2007-08 school year, the volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to UTEP in its first match of the Sun Bowl Invitational. The Red Foxes fell by scores of 30-16, 30-19, 30-17. Freshman Allie Burke (Alpharetta, Ga.) and sophomore Alexandra Schultze (Austin, Texas) had six kills apiece for the Red Foxes, while sophomore setter Dawn Jan (Belleville, N.J.) had 14 assists. Marist will return to action at 7 p.m. EDT in the Sun Bowl Invitational with a match against North Dakota State.

Schultze added eight digs for the Red Foxes, who were led in digs by freshman libero Emily Brosky (Whitehall, Pa.) with 10.
