POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team will open the 2019 season on Saturday, when the Red Foxes face Geogetown at Cooper Field in Washington, DC. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m.

This is the second straight season the Red Foxes have opened their season against the Hoyas. It's the seventh straight season the teams have met, and 22
nd time overall in a rivalry that dates back to 1994. Both teams were formerly members of the MAAC Football League.

Saturday's game will be broadcast in the Hudson Valley on Z-93 (93.3 FM) with Geoff Brault (play-by-play), Steve Eggink (color), and Ed Weir (sideline) on the call. The broadcast goes on air at 12:15 p.m., and will also be available on iHeart Radio and the Red Fox Network.

The Red Foxes will next be in action on Saturday, Sept. 14, when they host Stetson in their home and Pioneer Football League openers. Kickoff is set for noon. Single-game and season tickets are available on MaristTickets.com.
