POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist softball program has announced the launch of its Giving Campaign.
Funds raised by the campaign are designed to enhance student-athlete experience as a whole. This would include equipment and travel.
A program tradition under head coach
Joe Ausanio is to ensure that each class has the opportunity to travel to Hawaii. Although this has not occurred in the last couple of years due to COVID-19 regulations, the Red Foxes will compete in Hawaii in the 2023 season. Donations will help cover expenses of this trip.
"It has always been a goal of ours to be better at communicating and connecting with our alumni, their families, and friends of our softball program," Ausanio said. "This giving and fundraising campaign can hopefully accomplish that and afford us to be able to give our current student athletes a year to remember for a lifetime."
The campaign will run through June 30, 2023. To make your donation, please click

The Marist softball program has routinely achieved success on and off the field over the past three decades. The Red Foxes have advanced to NCAA Regionals three times and have had three Academic All-Americans in program history. The team has produced an Academic All-District selection each of the last seven years, including three in the 2022 season.
