Hackensack, NJ - Marist College volleyball defeated host Fairleigh Dickinson tonight 3-1. The Red Foxes are now 2-6 on the year while FDU fall 0-8 on the season.

Freshman middle blocker Sally Hanson (Guerneville, CA/El Molino) came up big for the Red Foxes collecting 12 kills and four aces on the night. Freshman outside hitters Stefanie Miksch (Austin, TX/James Bowie) and Kim McErathon (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa) added to the Red Fox attack with 11 and 10 kills respectively. Sophomore setter Meghan Cochrane chipped in a team high 46 assists and 12 digs on the night.

The Red Foxes will be on the road again this weekend as they head back to West Point to compete in the Army Tournament. They will face host Army on Friday, September 12th at 7:00pm followed by a match against Yale on Saturday, September 13th at 10:00am. Marist will finish up the tournament with a match against Sacred Heart on Saturday at 2:00pm.
